I'm not really a Hamilton fan, but I think Sunday showed us that it still takes skills to drive the best car. Bottas could barely keep it pointing in the right direction while Lewis was able to make a comeback after not being on pole and win the race.

Agreed! That wasn’t a jibe. He is a better driver than Bottas.

I was more talking about him getting bored....

Sorry for the late reply

His post was a comment on and sympathy with a F1 drivers dog having to suffer a vegan diet

Also not a Hamilton fan, but somehow, no matter what happens, he always seems to pull it off. Sometimes I think he must be the luckiest guy on the grid, other times I think he has the uncanny ability to make his own luck.

Although not a fan, I have a lot of respect for his achievements. He is definitely one of the greats.

https://www.news24.com/wheels/formulaone/mercedes-f1-team-apologises-to-chinese-fans-after-bottas-covid-19-joke-20201119-2

Ole Bottas make a joke.

Now, if it was Borat we would laugh and laugh. But i guess Mercedes sells many cars in China.

I thought the joke was the part about bottas losing the world championship....

How can he lose something that he never even had a single finger on haha.

Lewis Hamilton is the typical maverick. So too Senna, Schumi and, gotta love the guy, Max.

There's one around every corner in sport. The Formula 1 environment suits Lewis well. It is not a team sport, so being eccentric brings a useful edge, although it is a highly interdependent performance environment. His perfectionistic tendencies will allow him to thrive in a sport where millimetres and milliseconds matters.

However, the maverick in Hamilton always acknowledges his team, the contributors at the factory and his relationship with Toto. He also works tirelessly at co-creating a sport that is more inclusive.

An insightful interview into the culture of performance at Merc.

Who will challenge the dominance?
