About R14k...but this is the Tarmac pro, not the S-works, where as the Giant frame is the top of the range....still love the way this frame looks

Basically R15500

Soooooo hot...but warranty worries me, seeing as you cannot get it in SA easily. Also Reckon Dura Ace on a frame like this will be sacrilege...

My eyes say the De Rosa. My savy sais the Specialized. My logic says the Giant.

After reading that article on the Idol from that link that you posted this morning, i was really impressed with it. Fully hand made in Italy, and it has the best look of the 3 in my opinion. That would be my choice and so what if you put Shimano on?? if that worries you then go for Chorus.

But if it was my money i would go for the De Rosa, then the Giant, and lastly the Specialized. After seeing Mr Mac's new Giant Advanced on sunday i think ive changed my opinion on Giant Carbon bikes. That frameset is very very nice! Suppose it also depends if you want the ISP or not, as the Spec doesnt have one...

giant has integrated seat post...... better performance regarding compliance, in my view. less wieght for same strangth in the seatpost, leaving more material available for stiffening other parts of the frame...

specialised look good but i have heard some negatives regarding filler...
