Hi all

I am a Roadie that knows 105 shimano is cheaper then Ultegra is cheaper then DuraAce Ok!

how does the range go for Mountain bikes ? I see xt ,slx etc but have no idea which is top end and which is bottom end .........please help starting with enttry level ....moving up what s top notch stuff, and what is entry level ?

Road = Sora, Tiagra, 105, Ultegra, Dura-ace

 

MTB = Alviro (something like this?), Deore, slx, xt, xtr

 

This is only for shimano. You also get sram and campy

Note to self : Do not speak to Mampara nor Mackie about SRAM ,fear they might be converted! :lol:
