"One last hawk tuah"

Aaaaaand she's disappeared...  Pretty sure she was fugazzied by the person who cooked it for her.  Probably hiding because of those threats calling for her to be killed, or from the potential of being arrested.

FWIW, I'll take the word of academics who teach crypto engineering and the business of it: Not credible as an investment tool.

Was thinking about crypto earlier and I guess any asset, currency etc is based on sentiment at that point in time and the value we believe it will hold , appreciate, depreciate etc. and this would hold true for anything really.

And since most currencies were de-linked from anything physical, like gold, it has really been a pretend/sentiment/belief value anyway. Methinks, crypto currency is just the next step in de-coupling value from reality. (Says the guy who likes reading a real paper book, or riding a real bike with real wind in his hair.)

Remarkable that they're all still alive considering how all four have been such enthusiastic substance abusers.  Tony Iommi's 3 grams a night habit wasn't even his main narrative.  His love of thuggish violence and inserting himself at the thinnest of opportunities makes his existential circumstance surprising.

Mostly moved on from their music almost forty years since but I'd have zero hesitation in exchanging a minor organ to be at Villa Park on 5 July.

I hear you. Got myself onto a pre launch list to try and get a ticket. I was meant to see ozzy in 2019 but he postponed due to ill health , then Covid came along then his health again and finally in 2023 we were refunded eventually.

so this is my final shot at seeing ozzy and black sabbath. Great line up including Jake e Lee who I rate as a guitarist, he was in ozzy’s band at one point but fell foul of Sharon, so good to see him tooo. And Gojira , wow, just wow.

suspect tickets will be north of 200 though. But if I get the opportunity to buy one I will certainly do so. Or failing that will live stream it if they have that possibility.

here’s a pic in front of the mill that was the album cover for the first album. This was on the anniversary of the album launch.
