I have been holding back on this image.

It is an image not many would really understand.

I showed it to a fellow landscape tog and he was as excited as I was.

This is the pinnacle of my photography life so far.

 

I have been hunting for a dead tree that stands above the horizon with no clutter for many years now.

The fact that the grass was green and the sky overcast is just a bonus.

The rules of thirds were also heavily adhered to, as much as possible in any case .

NO That would be Southern America  crossing the Andes between Argentina & Chile  .  

You weren't doing the Trans Andes, were you? Finished just last week I think. Then I'd be even more jealous!
