So yesterday morning I woke to find my Tapinauchenius gigas in a death curl and by the afternnon it was gone.

It is more commonly known as an Orange tree spider and was starting to look like the pic attached. It was almost 2 years old and has had bad molts since I got it. Looks like the old molt got stuck over it's book lungs which finally killed it. In the wild it would've died ages ago as I've always had to sit with tweezers and remove the pieces of exuvium from it every molt, but wasn't around this time.

RIP little guy.

Sorry to hear about your Tapi. Bad moults are horrible to deal with and you've being dealing with them for 2 years? Strongs, bud.

how i feel about my fishies as well.

Sad news.

I've been babysitting the cousin's single goldfish in my massive tank for too long now (they moved house six months ago)...felt bad that it was lonely and went and bought it some friends......I remember few years ago saying.."never again" and now back to square one! Come Uni....get some more!! Edited by blondeonabike

I still have my fishies though we're down to one tank now after suffering from multi tank syndrome. Was very sad taking the catfish to the aquarium , but I think they should be happier there, must get out to pta to visit them. With them gone we were able to put all the small fish into the big tank and everyone seems rather happy so no more new finned friends for now.

We also went through a stage of too many tanks....my goldies bred and had millions of babies...then as quickly as they hatched the parents started eating them, so we were moving fish around to save them. Eventually we ended up with about ten getting to a decent size

Please spare a thought for Tumbles. He took a bad turn last night. Struggled to get up and walk. Am rushing through my work to get home to him and see how he is.

Keeping him in our thoughts.
