I know, I know!!! The other 3 got pissed off with their nap being disturbed by having a camera in their face and they went to sleep somewhere else. :whistling:

Nope, the 3 of them got engaged in the destruction of a branch that fell off a palm tree in my yard, and did not notice the downpour that followed, so they are SOAKING wet... I switched the heater on in the room (I expected Little Fish to AT LEAST notice that) and old Gada parked himself right in front of it while the pups went for the pillows.... :D

Excuse the bad quality pic, had to try and take a pic while they were sleeping on top of me.

At the back is Queenie - Schnauzer

On top of her is Tienkie - Yorkie

Besides destroying the garden / garden furniture their favorite past time is passing out on the couch.

Well our Randfontein special, Zoe, has settled in nicely. She is now beyond the skinny, scrawny and cowering little puppy stage we found her in.

Now she is a frisky, energetic and chewy little puppy!

She has taken a shining to Clyde, our male BC, although he is not too happy about sharing his little basket (which was originally bought for our sausage dog cross!).

And she just loves the water, the 'pool' is now full and we have seen her through the bedroom window get in at one end and swim across to the other end on her own just for fun!post-12678-0-59510800-1376373364_thumb.jpg

I was going through this thread yesterday - truth is, I think I've avoided it 'cos I still miss my old Fresca, but nearly 5 years on I should get over myself - and Zoe sure got me all tearful. So lekker to see her settled and happy and doing doggy things. Thanks Mojoman!

Hey Htone

This chap look anything like Romeo? Meet Spud (Guarding his dinosaur). Long story but he lives with his grandmother, originally got him at 4 weeks old

Dude, that could be his brother !!!

I am not sure what Romeo really is, but from research based on his looks, he is very close to a Patterdale Terrier (your guy looks like one too !) - and he has very typical Terrier behaviour, arrogance and over-confidence. I am sure that in his case it is just how the gene pool worked out for him, but have a look at the below link and tell me what you think ? (not the scruffy, wire-haired variety, he has a smooth coat as well).

and

(There are some hectic Patterdale sites, as these dogs are still in active use to clear vermin from farmlands, and they were originally bred to get jackal out of their holes in rocky areas .... even the breed spec says that scars obtained while working should be seen a markers of courage and not detract from the overall look of the dog !)
