what i can not understand is this:

1, You caused **** and are acussed for making a mess things

2. like all of the board members do nothing, take the money and the free flights.

3.resign and think you are in the right when you are part of the problem for doing nothing

4, try and get the cyclists on your side by quoting saftey bull***t

5. Get your brother to have a rant and cause ***

6. try and take over CSA and then when found out do a runner.

7. with regard to fraud live in a glass house and throw stones

Funny how it all starts just before voting season, but thats the way to do it do nothing or make a mess of things for 2 yrs and say you were trying to look after the interests of cycling!!!!

and people are defending these clowns

Makes me laugh or cry

You can say what you like about "these clowns", but if it wasn't for them and some other vocal people within the organisation, we'd know nothing about the troubles facing the governing body.

MTB@cgcycling, if Mr Lemmer was in it for the money, you would think for one, he would take a job that actually pays. Secondly, if he was that keen on overseas trips, why would he refuse to go overseas in order for additional riders to rather go?

Lastly....on the topic of greedy bastards, wasn't it CGC who wanted to pay their board members for every meeting they attended?

I remember Hendrik offering his braaing skills in exchange for a bed to stay on one trip up to Jozi on CSA business.

I can see where all this is heading to.

Lot's and lot's if finger pointing and he said , she said kind of stuff is going to happen here.

I praised the Lemmer for having the balls to stand up and talk, seems like he might/ma not be an angel.

We would never know, unless we see some hard cold facts

I reckon the entire association needs to be scrapped and things should start afresh.

What I simply don't understand and if I may use one example.

The same individual who steps away from CSA ,who caused the disaster at TOSA is back as head of said event ?

What the hell is going on ?

Oh dear, the Lemmers have dirt on you. Option B it is, then.

I know far too little to comment on the politics of CSA, but in my opinion, it appears the wrong people are continually been voted in, this is a symptom of the voting process which in my opinion is not inclusive and flawed.

Change the voting process as a first step, by ensuring all relevant people who want to stand for the board are voted in by the relevant Joe soap cyclist's, not their mates.

All prospective board members should have a prospectus made reflecting their qualifications, education, past achievements, similar positions held, what they plan to do for cycling in the next 24 months etc, etc. This prospectus is sent to ALL members of CSA (That's everybody who pays a membership fee)who can then read about the people who are standing for election and make an informed decision on who they would like to have as a board Chairman, Road Director, MTB Director etc.

The Joe cyclist then votes the board in.

This is the only way in my opinion to keep people accountable and ensure we as Joe Public have a say in who runs OUR association, because it is ours, its our money and our support that keeps them in jobs. Right now your and my vote is almost totally irrelevant.

Maybe it was a "veiled" golden handshake to avoid a costly legal/CCMA case? The Government have perfected this method of getting out of employment contracts.

Could very well be.

I reckon there is perhaps 1 or two or maybe a tad more individuals dictating to CSA as to what should happen.

I wonder how the previous CEO stepped in to that position in the first place ?

Then gets asked/forced to step down, to hide what possible embarrassment ?

This whole thing goes much deeper than any of us could imaging (my speculative opinion)
