Beating the #1 ODI side in the world 5-0 (and each game convincingly) is about the same as taking the Rugby Championship 3 years in a row without losing a game (as we only play Aus roughly every 3 years or so). Unfortunately beating the top sides does not guarantee that we continue to play the top sides in the near future. This is something the ICC needs to address.
