I have replaced my rather battered " Working Tools" watch (# 14 of this thread) with a newer one.

This one is American so emphases a slightly different set of symbols from my old English watch.

My watches have a rough time as I don't remove when I am working in my workshop, or riding my bikes.

Free Masons' watch?

Morning all. I am a big Steinhart fan but have never actually seen one other than on the web. I would love to get one in the future but am always cautious about buying without trying them on as I have small wrists. Generally a 40 - 43mm watch is fine and sometimes a 44mm can work depending on the crown etc. My question is: are there any Steinhart owners in cape town south Africa who would be willing to allow me to try theirs own for size? I really like the Nav b 44mm's the marine chrono, the apollon, the marine officer bronze or the tritons. Thanks guys

hey dipslick. did you buy this directly from the Steinhart website? and did you use standard postage option.

Whatever you do, make sure that you use FedEx, DHL or UPS. You don't want your parcel ending up in the hands of EMS.

I ordered a Laco watch from Germany for my wife on Wednesday morning, and it was delivered this morning at 07:30am. Shipping was 40€.

as I see really nice watches I add to my list of watches I like. This is what my list looks like at the moment. The grey highlighted one's are the 3 I have so far, nothing special. The rest are very nice watches. The one's with the stars are the one's I'd actually buy if I could.

What do you think?
