Nancy Drew Posted August 21, 2012 Share Well done to all that finished..... those conditions were really tough. It's the first time I've come back from a MTB event where my arms/shoulders are more sore than my legs. Carrying my bike over that water crossing just after Hadleigh just about finished me off....Great experience all round though :-) Dirty Twin
Joe Low Posted August 21, 2012 Share What happened to "never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever again..... unless they tar the whole &^%$*$# thing"??? Must've been somebody else -and anyway I was saying we'd meet again, not necessarily we'd ride again. There must be loads of reasons I could end up in the Eastern Cape and bump into a hubber. 4u2nv Posted August 22, 2012 Share You can do a 3 day stage race in knysna, or the W2W for a little more. Take into account travelling forever, accommodation at two places, etc etc.Nothing cheap in this race. This race easily cost you R4000 for one day if you are travelling from Cape Town. Believe me, i did it twice. But the jaffles at the last water point makes up for some of this

Would be interesting to know, since the entry fees are sky highWel ons is bietjie teleurgesteld met die prysgeld, aangesien die lucky draw pryse so groot was. Ons het nie eers 'n derde van ons inskrywing terug gekry nie. Ek moet se dit is 'n bietjie duur veral as al die checkpoints nog nie "gegear" was vir die voorste ryers nie.
