"As Cullinan was on his way to the wicket, Warne told him he had been waiting 2 years for another chance to humiliate him. "Looks like you spent it eating," Cullinan retorted."

Cullinan might've won this one, but he ate humble pie almost everytime Warney bowled at him!

Warne's statement probably warrants the same verdict the ACB's anti-doping committee gave upon hearing his evidence after he tested positive for diuretics in 2003:

"Not entirely truthful."

WTF? I thought you had a motorbike? What do you need golf bats for?

LOL! It's to do a better job than Shane Warne and moer the cyclists that piss me off :whistling: just joking guys.......

I don't play golf but my bicycle is not going to fit next to me <_<

Ferrari is made by Fiat. Maybe it's the upmarket version of that Palio ad?

That was a brilliant ad.

I think Warney is not such a good boytjie.

Wonder what really happened in the exchanges with the cyclist.

It takes two to tango.

Update:

Cricket legend Shane Warne says irresponsible cyclists think they own the road after a run-in with a bike rider on his way home from the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

"I think what disappoints a lot of people is the attitude of the bike rider. They don't own the road," Warne said before training with his Melbourne Stars Big Bash cricket team yesterday. "My main concern is the attitude of the bike riders; just respect everyone on the road."

But the cyclist involved in the incident with Warne had a different view, claiming the cricketer drove into his bike and damaged it so badly he couldn't ride home.

The cyclist wants to remain anonymous, but told cyclingtipsblog.com he carried his bike to the police station to report the run-in and said he wanted Warne to pay for the cost of its repair.

He denied Warne's claim that he thumped his car and said it was the cricketer who was aggressive.

"The driver lurched his car forward, forcing my bike wheel and almost my leg under the front of his car," he wrote.

The cyclist said he was "dumbfounded at how overtly aggressive the driver had been". He said that after the incident Warne did not stop to check if he was injured and he claimed to have witnesses who could back his story.

Warne denied a witness report that he intentionally clipped the cyclist after the argument.

"That's factually incorrect," he said.

"He [the cyclist] was lucky, I was actually polite and careful after smacking my car twice and grabbing on to my car ... otherwise I might have put my foot down and tried to hit him.

"People can say whatever they want; I know what happened, I did the right thing at the time and I did the right thing afterwards."

Warne said he would be willing to work with cycling advocacy groups after he was criticised for inciting hatred towards cyclists. AAP

As far as being his bogeyman goes, Pat Symcox once claimed that he had got Steve Waugh out more times than Fat Boy got DJ out.

Bit OT but here is the best cricketing sledge ever - Mark Waugh got it handed to him a few times. He missed a couple of opportunities to rather shut up

James Ormond came out to bat and Mark Waugh from second slip says to him...how the f*&^ did you get a game for England, you are a no name.....

James Ormond responds with...well at least I'm the best player in my family !

Read this recounting of the incident, and as far as I could see, warnie was driving a Mercedes Coupe. No mention was made of a Ferrari by the cyclist.

Who's confusing who here?

I would love to see how this will end and whether the cops are going to charge Mr Warne for not stopping or reporting the incident with them.

I really hope charges are pressed, given the high profile of the incident and the fact that Warne chose to make it so. Absconding the scene of an accident and assault with a deadly weapon come to mind.

Even though no one got hurt, the fact that Warne feels he's within his rights to drive into another road user and then shout about it publicly needs to smacked down very hard, 'til his pompous puffy little face begs for clemency.

Reading the cyclist's account it sounds like there are plenty of willing witnesses.
