You can do it with a single bomb then pump it up with the floor pump. It is probably easier than taking the front wheel off, getting into the car with the bike, driving to the shop, getting out, asking someone (who you have just had issues with) to fix another of your problems. Cheaper too. But then maybe this guy is loaded. He does have 2 serious bikes there.

Co2's not good for some sealants, dirrent u know. Anyway if everybody did their own maintenance then what would the shop mechanics be doing?

BTW whats your connection to CC, first name basis with them?

I really didnt know that. I carry bombs with me all the time. What is the alternative? :offtopic: I know but this is news toi me.

Hi guys. I am not going to defend my shop or start a mud slinging exercise. If I had the time to give more background I would but sometimes its better not to give certain individuals too much airtime, especially if this is the person involved in running the competing bike shop in the same area. Happy to say we are now the only bike shop in Houtbay.

Nonetheless, he is or was a customer and in this business the customer is always right. Therefore I apologise for your experience of our store's service. We are always trying to improve so I only hope that we will never have another customer having the same experience. Please feel free to recommend ways in which we can improve. We all know there is much more to this story than meets the eye.

Fact of the matter is that most customers leave our store happy, but we are not perfect and get it wrong sometimes.

Anyway, some say any publicity it good publicity, so let me take the opportunity to invite all cyclist to he shop this Saturday for a free cup af coffee and monster cookie.

I've never ever been to your shop, but hey I like you already  just a pitty you guys are so far away :whistling:

In this movie is it possible that puff 'adder' could be involved in some kinda insurance fraud?

Unlikely from his posts. Highly likely that CC could be, IMHO, given the facts presented to us so far? Had OP not gone and found it in the wash bay, would they ever have told him?

We still don't know how long they had it in their posession before he found it... this is so dodgy.
