The Bulls might have won the Stormers but played *** imo.

Schalk looks like he's back to his crazy self again at least.

Interesting facts

It was the first time the Sharks have beaten the Crusaders at home in the history of Super Rugby,

and it was the first time any South African side has won in Christchurch since 2001.

For 65 minutes, after Jean Deysel was red-carded, the Sharks were undermanned - and in the 63rd minute they sank to 13-men for 10 minutes when Willem Alberts was sent to the sin-bin.

This bravery from the SA teams is doing my SuperBru no good this weekend. So many results against the odds.

I love the cheetahs today

Amen to that, I've always been a cheetah supporter no matter what anyone else say or think because SA's best players are products of Free State rugby.

Well, my sentiments about Brussow are repeatedly articulated in this thread ... let's just hope he makes the final test squad. Some interesting choices in the training squad, and certainly a few surprises. And no overseas players as yet? I suspect they'll be in the final test squad. And only Goosen and Boshoff at 10 (for now).

Springbok training squad:

Forwards (20):

Tendai Mtawarira (Sharks), Trevor Nyakane (Cheetahs), Marcel van der Merwe (Bulls)*, Jannie du Plessis (Sharks), Frans Malherbe (Stormers), Coenie Oosthuizen (Cheetahs), Bismarck du Plessis (Sharks), Adriaan Strauss (Cheetahs), Eben Etzebeth (Stormers), Lood de Jager (Cheetahs)*, Victor Matfield (Bulls), Flip van der Merwe (Bulls), Heinrich Brüssow (Cheetahs),Marcell Coetzee (Sharks), Siya Kolisi (Stormers), Willem Alberts (Sharks), Jacques du Plessis (Bulls)*, Teboho Mohoje (Cheetahs)*, Duane Vermeulen (Stormers), Schalk Burger (Stormers)

Backs (16):

Fourie du Preez (Suntory, Japan), Francois Hougaard (Bulls), Johan Goosen (Cheetahs), Marnitz Boshoff (Lions)*, Jean de Villiers (Stormers), Damian De Allende (Stormers)*, Jan Serfontein (Bulls), Juan de Jongh (Stormers), JJ Engelbrecht (Bulls), S’bura Sithole (Sharks)*, Frans Steyn(Sharks), Lwazi Mvovo (Sharks), Bjorn Basson (Bulls), JP Pietersen (Sharks), Cornal Hendricks (Cheetahs)*, Willie le Roux (Cheetahs)
