Cape Town - SANZAAR has announced that the first ever Rugby Championship Test will be staged in London this year.

READ: Bonus point change for Rugby Championship

This comes after SANZAAR on Thursday announced the match schedule and kick-off times for the Rugby Championship. It will for the first time include a match played at Twickenham Stadium on October 8 between Argentina and 2015 Championship winners Australia.

This is a nominated home match for Argentina who will play their other home matches in Salta and Buenos Aires.

The Twickenham match will be the final game of the Championship and could have a huge bearing on the outcome of the tournament. Argentina will be keen to reverse their loss to the Wallabies at the same venue in the 2015 Rugby World Cup semi-final.

The Rugby Championship will be played across six weekends/rounds and will also for the first time include a match at Mbombela Stadium, Nelspruit, South Africa.

“SANZAAR is delighted to be playing in two new cities this year with Mbombela Stadium, Nelspruit and Twickenham in London hosting Championship matches,” said SANZAAR CEO, Andy Marinos

So what you guys think about the Cosatu and deliberate sabotage claims??

They (i.e. Tony) could have a point about some players, e.g. Willie le Roux. What else could explain his poor form. Also Pat Lambie faked his concussion so that Elton would come on unprepared and thereby be exposed.

And then regarding MNET, I agree with COSATU (read: Tony) that all Springbok games should be aired during Open Time.

At least I believe in Open Time.

I would have started with Steven Kitshoff in place of Malherbe.

Problem is Kitshoff is a specialist loosehead whilst Malherbe is a tighthead.

Malherbe's been average in the scrum at tighthead thus far, and frankly pathetic joining the breakdown (like in - many penalties that counted against Bokke). I'd be playing Julian Redelinghuys and Marcel vd Merwe at tighthead.

Go Bokkies!!!!!

Agree. Only change I'd make to the starting 15 is Mvovo instead of JP. The latter was world class, but is past his sell-buy date in my opinion. I'd really be building NOW for RWC 2019, and not short-term results.

A bit like Danie Rossouw - on the day a world beater, but more often than not below average. But take nothing away from JP, he's been up there since 2006. And maybe that's the point ... it is 2016 already.

Tense finish, If not for Fafs try scoring tackle the Irish could have taken it. % possession is a huge concern.

England were up against it last week and came through.

The concern is losing possession rather than having it and not going anywhere with it.
