This is a serious race to the bottom debate, but anyway here goes. I know the records. You could say Ian Mac is the worst bok coach ever if you want to just go on stats.

How is PDivvy's Super rugby record? exactly.

What has he done since being bok coach...UWC, how did that work out?

Methinks AC is more likely to get a decent coaching job before Snor does.

It would have been interesting to see how Toetie would have done if he had got the job after Jake left.

AC and PDiv are both kuk coaches. AC even more so if you look at his long term record at the stormers and boks with the talent and assistant coaches he had at his disposal. Snorre got appointed as bok coach thanks to transformation. Like you pointed out, he wasn't even a super rugby coach. BUT, he had a really good squad (world champs) and he managed to ride the wave they were on for his tenure.

Totti used to be a good man manager, until he got to the boks. Remember 2016 how he kept on blaming specific players after each loss, especially Lions players (Faf & Elton). Elton just could not play under AC for some reason.

Yes he'll easily get another coaching job in Japan. But that doesn't mean he's a good coach!

Whatever they do, can they yield secrets of success from the Blitzbokke, leaders in 7s ruggers

AFAIK there are only three things in SA Rugby that are not controlled by the 14 provinces/presidents. The blitzbokke, CT 7's and the Varsity Cup.

ALL SUCCESSFUL.

So just take the boks away from these dinosaurs and you should get results too.

I see Snorre is Zimbabwe's new coach.

On record saying "greatest day of my life" nogal.

Good luck to him. And Zimbabwe.

Ja, i stand by my original comment that AC will still be a more higher regarded coach, PDivvy didn't set the bar too high here.

but it does mean we will see some excellent video bites in the near future, this oke should never be in the wilderness for too long.

Is anyone still watching rugby [emoji848][emoji848]

Rassie confirmed as new bok coach.

And Mwzandile Stick as back line coach with Nienaber as defence coach.

Interesting times ahead

Not a fan of RE from his playing days... especially with him trying to play all positions, i.e. flyhalf, centre, etc. He was one of the first to be “forwards in the backline”.

I wish him well in the role of national coach, and hope that he can deliver the result all fans want... victories on the field.

Same feelings about him... but he is a real student of the game, and I think he might just turn out to become a legend, as longs as the board room just leaves him alone to coach...
