Bikes are meant to be ridden - My CT1 just stares at me and it's my 3rd choice road bike which is a problem as I ride a road bike 3 times a year on closed road races (or in my case funrides)  So do I leave it in my cave and admire it or do I pass it on?  If so what is the value? - I work from home so I see it all day long which gives me pleasure but makes me feel guilty.  Items that have carpark or no mileage, cassette 28/12, 3T stem and handlebars, seatpost WR conposti, saddle, tyres spaz turbo cotton 26's and of course the Campag Euros. Rest of the bike is mint at worst

I don't need to sell it, is it sacrilege to just keep it for it's beauty?

it's promised already if I do sell  - 55 CTC top tube 56 ctc seat tube - I wouldn't imagine it would be a hard sale to make, just not sure if I would regret it - a lot of effort went into the build

You're just up/down the road from me (Hoekwil), you bring and show me yours, I'll show you mine!!!

Can't just leave it hanging on the wall and when I very rarely ride a roadbike, it's this - seems a bit extravagant to have 3 roadbikes just because they look pretty - can't even admit to the MTB collection I actually ride

If you're up near Plett one day, drop in and I'll show you why you should keep it!!!

Each bike has its own character. Sell it and you gonna miss it especially the way it rides. Keep it and then just that one day when you ride it you will be reminded why you kept it.

What I have done is strike a deal with a nago perv who wants it and will use it - if he can raise the money in an agreed time, it's his, if not I keep it for that rainy day - not that I'd ride in the rain, serious fair weather rider when it comes to the road.
