Burry also wears white socks. Well, he did yesterday at the prologue at least. And he also rides a 29er with much rubber. Now what?

Erh Umm I..... Oh yes..I remember now... didn't Burry also have sh*t happen to him year before last...

Yeah, I think we sometimes assume things, and soon everyone regurgitates it so much that we actually believe it without any facts at hand. If they did cut corners with weight, well, then they have paid the price. But from where I am sitting, it doesn't seem to be the case. Just wasn't their day.

Try the new Kenda SCT tubeless ready tire range, they are good. Slant 6 or Small block 8.

The only reason we dont break our bikes like these guys is becuase we simply cant ride as hard as they can :)

Nah, more likely because we pay for them ourselves. We don't get paid to ride them. :whistling: :P :D

You are all missing the point, if, like the other 2 contenders, they had a backup team this would have been a non-issue.

Have to agree and the closer to the start this happened the less time they would have lost.

I don't think we are missing point. But in addition, you do make a good point. There can be more than one point, yes, otherwise it's just pointless

Gotta to have Bomb proof tires!!!

Yeah sure why dont we just kit them out with DH tyres?

No such thing as a bomb proof tyre, I have destroyed every single make of tyre out on the market and i dont put in 1 x 50th of the km's these guys put in, you seriously think they have not gone through 1000's of km's of training on those same brand tyres?

They sit around and just pick their kit the night before a race?

Get real people they know more about those tyres than you can ever imagine. Bottom line is thats the nature of the beast, crap happens, and any one hubber that suggests these guys dont know their kit, or did something due to lack of skill, is seriously deluded with their litte place on this planet.

They know more than us about kit and cycling, they spend big money on researching every single component on the market, and these guys have more skill in their little toes than the entire hubs skill capacity combined and multiplied by Pi.

I only have to say gawd i luv hubbers. Reminds me of some hub experts argueing with Jeron Swart, though i didnt think they new it was Dr Swart on the other end of the keyboard.

You are so right Covie.

I also remember the Jeron Swart discussion. As far as I know, after that incident he has never been back.

Can anybody comment on what rear shock they are using on the Spark ? Looks like they have swopped out the DT Swiss for a rockshox or Fox ! Don't see any cables or 3 way remote lockout on handlebars as per standard RC spec !

I know what happened. David, being a roadie, was wheel sucking Kev. Now that is common mistake roadies make when they start MTBiking. Kev gave way for the rock but did not point out the rock 2 Dave (not required when MTBiking). Kev hit the rock and booooom !!!!

Bwahaha....I'm just taking the piss out of you hubbers...LOL
