Nice race and weather just a few points they need to ponder.

1. The track is not best mantained when riding the first forest a few of us had to stop and find the track. Also some of the track is grown closed.

2. Single track is not flowing enough. Just going nice then you have to get off to go through some rocks.

3. The organisers knew it was going to be wet with river crossings why did the water points not have lube?

Otherwise a nice race with a good vibe. With a great acsent from the anouncer. :P

Send me your address and I will send you a sample bottle of the best wet lube you have ever applied to your bike.

Super Super hectic!!! now that was a challenge! Also had bad luck with the chain suck. wasted a lot of time that way. BIG BIG up to the guy on the niner singlespeed, OMW, major respect dude!

His name is Nico and he and his epic partner both did the epic on SS, didnt change their ratio's once! #1FG

So is there any way of getting our results? And what is the point of having the chip?

If I register with PPA now will I be able to see my time?

You guys should have done the houwhoek challenge now there was one well organized event, tech stations at every waterpoint, drinkable yoghurt bannanas, sarmie's, water coke, etc excellent route markers and the sweetest singletrack, they know how to host an event, and the free beers at the end of each day didnt hurt either. BTW its not the organisers responsiblity to have lube on hand so you can avoid chainsuck, go out and buy a miniture bottle of squirt its like 30 bucks, and does wonders if you go through puddles and rivers to revitalize the chain.

Yeah and I bought a celphone but do not want to top up my airtime. Can't understand why I can't make phone calls.

Pay up your PPA subs and enjoy the members privilages.

is the times correct up on racetec? shooooo 1:14:00 for the winner, nonsense has to be

I think some peeps who did their first lap crossed the mats instead of following the arrows & going around the mats. probably thought that was the half way mark mat check"
