That's faaarking good even for 2nd hand.

Yeah. I got it from Dan. He's not exactly cash strapped.

I've never been big on videoing myself or anything. I don't need a camera to know I suck. I mainly bought it for next year to vid the dudes on the France trip. Maybe do a little vid.

And it seems I'm not the only one...copy and paste from another forum.

BTW, my grip shift came apart, exploded the srping and was decomissioned before I could even ride it. Spring flung on the driveway. 2-1/2 hours and no fix. I turned it in and I heard gripshift is sending me a trigger shifter for temp use and a new gripshit is due out next month that elleviates this problem. My brand new bike is sitting. I was looking at another thread and tons of people are having trouble with thier gripshift so SRAM is engineering a fix. If I have any more issues I will switch to triger.

Ah. Happened to me and a mate. Morning in the LBS later and we finally got I back together... Good ol grip shi(f)t...

So my Wolftooth Chainrings have arrived.

32T for marathons and 30T for XCO stuff.

Running this on a 29er HT.

Going to keep with the 11/36 cassette. Thought about General Lee 11/40 but have seen there are shifting delays (not good if you are riding XCO) and the cassette been pretty worn after 4 months. so will HTFU on the uphills.

Any particular reason for going with the wolf tooth over the Raceface Narrow wide chainrings?

Before all this came out I ordered a Widgit chainring from Australia which is current on my 1x9 26er. Then these narrow wide chainrings came out. I prefer the 1x set up. So my 29er 2x10 chainrings are tired and need replacing.

I have been doing a bit of research about the 2 and have not found any real difference in the 2 other than that the Wolftooth has longer and thicker teeth.

Here is the deal clincher. I have to write smaller so sars/customs don't find me.

i get my USA purchased items mailed here free of any charges etc. so i paid $143 (R1400) for the 2 rings and i wait 2 weeks for it to arrive. That is allit costs.

Nothing dodgy I just work for the US Embassy in Pretoria so have mail priviledges.
