popcorn_skollie Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 Yup, the old 100mm feels the same as the new 125mm. Going to try look at externak routing but put the post in first to see if it will make a difference. If not, the route as before but just dont extend the seat at full height. or you could get short cranks, fat pedals, innersoles, the new giro helmet and call yourself Mongo? https://youtu.be/OkzaOwAmDmA
Captain Fastbastard Mayhem Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 or you could get short cranks, fat pedals, innersoles, the new giro helmet and call yourself Mongo? https://youtu.be/OkzaOwAmDmAfkoff. LOL.
AlanD Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 Lol..you okes are funny...lucky i got a greay semse of humour..hahaha I see the 100mm dropper from giant is 350mm in length and the 125 is 395mm. So my question is, is the 100mm shorrer in terms of the part that goes into the seat tube and will this allow me to get it lower? Comedic comments welcomed...hahaha

Iwan Kemp Posted August 31, 2016 Author Posted August 31, 2016 Part of the reason the Crap Brothers Joplin was such a disaster of note was the seat clamp / tilt design. 10 Years later and Pro copies it.

So did Giant. The main reason the Crap Bros one was *** is because of who made it. Lovely looking kit, but utter rubbish.
