Honkdonk Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 Oversubscribed and they are running out of land in the north of Jhb to keep the start, finsih and hospitatlity areas the same as the main race without traversing the construction site that is Waterfall and other areas that are fast becoming part of the concrete jungle
Clinton - theCOW Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 What everybody said above but what is YOUR goal? Yes it is oversubscribed, unless you in A group, you really stand little chance or really racing it. For me, it's a casual twaddle in a COW suite to get out and have some fun. Don't expect it to be hectically technical, they are catering for the masses. I'm there to have a day out on my MTB with casual Joe & their partners. Enjoy the ride and help any newbies, think i fixed 5 mechanicals last year and 0 were mine. Kinda my Mandela day & at the same time doing what i enjoy DR ◣◢ and Wayne68 2

divernick Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 I started last year in A2 and it was quite enjoyable. Yes, there were 1 or 2 bottlenecks, but that's to be expected.
