udxcob Posted September 24, 2012 Share You roadies need to tackle a real mountain bike race (not a dirt road race) to see what it takes out of you
M L Posted September 24, 2012 Share What a bunch of show-offs, oh wait it's roadies. Anyway, congrats, I'm just a tad jealous. btw, who was that joung oke in the green afrgi shirt? Was on a white bike I think. Came past on the uphills with a moerse spoet, even singing as he went up! , and that with a 5000+ tag. Wannabe Posted September 25, 2012 Share Definately one of the hardest races I've done. I would say only the Jock took more out of me. The DC is not a patch to this, in my humble opinion. Condolences to the friends and family of the cyclist who passed away. He was still on the scene when we came by. Very sobering moment.
