Take it Karambits are also illegal here?

As far as I recall ,the original Civilian was illegal due to the length of the blade.

Pictures don't do it justice.

Thanks Wyatt, also came across the Byrd range, budget brand for Spyderco and they look quite good. Not looking to spend more than R1000.

Also consider this.

The new range from Kershaw, they look like great value for money.

G 10 handle .

I love the spyderco tenacious. I have a few really expensive knives but my spyderco is still my favourite. Best edc i own. And cheap too

These are the "best"(most expensive) 2 knives i own. Zt 350 and zt300(pic has a zt301, the 300 is full black like the baby 350.they are tanks. I put the 300 through i hilux bonnet once. Went in so smoothl. That being said. My spyderco tenacious is still my favourite.

My next dream knife is a good local Ras Venter. But at R7k its probably going to stay a dream.

This is my contribution. Bought it on Ebay for 700 ZARS for my 25th birthday.

It took a few weeks to get used to having on my belt by now, 8 years later, if I ever forget to "put it on" in the morning I keep thinking like I have forgotten something and it leaves one with a strangle feeling of nakedness!

Oh and that s30v blade is simply fantastic!

I don't think a day has ever gone by where I haven't used it for something.

Edit: Oh yes, and it also has titanium which always makes something better!

that's some seriously sexy stuff you got there - this one... if you ever want to make space for some new stuff .. and give that one away (to me) :whistling:

I'm waiting for a mate of mine to save up some money and then we want to go do one of those knifesmithing days - and make myself a one of the kind.

That is 45cm of Pirate knife with a hand filed Ivory handle. Took 6 weeks to complete and costs +R12000.
