Hey .... your front brake hose looks far too long!

Uhm... this bike was not built by a professional/LBS, so I will take it easy... however, really need to route the front hose on the inside of the forks..

The hose on the inside prevents it from getting caught on branches etc, good choice to move it. Both of you SC guys have nice bikes. Hose length is a little long on the green bike but nothing beats this one from rouxtjie...

Does the man with the longest hose win?? Note how it curves up and around and he hooks it between the handle bar and the brake lever to hold it in place

He rode VG a few times like that. Said one day he will get to the LBS to shorten it

1. The green SC is not mine... just a quick google search to show how to route the front hose...

2. My comment re the pro/lbs not building the bike is directly related to a certain SA based concern who repeatedly post pics of their builds with anomalies ranging from using dropper post routing for brake/shifting to all kinds of other weird and wonderful ways of routing cables and hoses....

Ps, I'm not really for real... my online persona is ever-evolving... thank you for acknowledging my post

I actually did read it and found it quite amusing, sounds like you can teach the best of the best how to build a bike.

Your wrong is not necessarily another mans right.

I say as long as they guys bikes work and they are happy then it does not matter. On my own bike I have the rear brake cable and the rear gear cable routed together as i wanted a full housed cable going to the rear. Seems to last a lot longer against the mud etc. and they are not in the way at all......

LOL, for me to comment we should first establish which "me" we are talking about...

"TheV" (respect the caps in the "T" and "V") or the the human me?

Because on here I am The-omniscient-V :whistling:

And here we thought it was actually The V. Roman numerals et al. How disappointing.
