Hey, I've actually seen you on that bike, just didn't know it. I nearly took out Garden Pavillion's fence with my car, 'cause we don't see many Niners in Potch.

Come to SA Single Speed champs next year - it's like a a live porn magazine for Ninerds.

dont know if its wanting to be cool like that gang...i have just got myself to a level of fitness where i know i will really enjoy the SS......The big thing is now getting it past the mrs...........that said.......i have been looking at my v old haro with v brakes and judy rock shock fork...that just sits there.........is it worth using this as a base? my options as i see them are:

1. Leave haro as is and convert - buy brake levers and SS kit

2. use frame and buy wheelset disk brakes and SS kit

3. throw the haro away and buy more modern 2nd hand bike and use that

4. As 3 but 29er......

Convert the Haro and try it - spend the minimum first time around - if you like it, move forward and go to town - makes no difference what the first one is - it may be the first of many or a great way to ride to the shop for milk.

My sources tell me Hilton is the place to be in June 2013....

The only flat area's in Hilton the the bed you sleep on and the loo you sit...

Therefore, HILL-ton!!!

It is laughably simple.

1. Get on

2. Pedal

3. OPTIONAL; Brake (the use of pansy-levers)

That is it.

I feel like a laaitie on my BMX, that gave me wheels to freedom!

You just smile while cruising on your SS

PS, last week on a night-ride, some of the guys only noticed further than half way through a 55km ride, that I was riding SS...

Not really slower at all.

I know some guys that will kick the geared butts of more than 80% of the racers out there.

nah not really - nothing extreme like the SSWC at winterton...you will have to stand on your peddles a bit but i cannot think of any hill that you cannot climb on a SS

Crisis, was your penis getting shorter and shorter as your list of options grew longer?
