I want to do 94.7 on a tandem by myself with a shirt that says if you can read this, she fell off =D

In no way am i implying anything here- your post just made me remember an incident in this years Argus- we did the tandem thing and there was a guy who was riding on his own on a tandem.... the people threw ALL the jokes at him... eventually he cracked and with tears in his eyes- (when someone shouted," She's fallen off!") he shouted,"she did not fall She died 3 weeks ago, and i'm still riding in her memory!!!) there was total silence in the area for a few seconds.... we really felt for the poor guy..... he was about 60 odd...

OT i know but when i read your post it made me think of that...

OT: I did the Hyper to Hyper many years ago on a tandem in the racing bunches (when i was fit and fast on the road). My partner got so sore with the back saddle I had to stop and drop him off (he got a ride to the finish) , so I rode on to the finish on my own - about 50kms. I had lots of fun - the most was winning the B group sprint to the line, on a tanderm, on my own.

Damn! Can just imagine. Everyone in good spirits having a jol and saying all sorts of things. Making fun very innocently. And then all those things just seem so wrong when the context broadens.

Not that it's anyone's fault but poor guy!
