1. That is not a local frame.

2. It is an open mould frame(that means anyone can buy these bikes and put their own name on) from China, here is the link to the factory. http://www.apro-tek....hp?sID=1&Key=20

3. It comes in a push or pull shock variation, one should just say that in your order.

4. the bike was not designed by some "German" or "American" engineer. The designer is a Thaiwanese engineer, a friend of mine who is a engineer at a large bike company has met him.

5. I have ridden one of these, they are junk! the kinematics are all wrong. They flex like crazy and the geo is not well designed.

6. DON'T BELIEVE ALL THE BULLSH!T PEOPLE TELL YOU! Do some research and you won't be caught like an idiot plus you will save a good bit of cash! ps...the frames cost about 650USD including shipping.

Hope I could inform some people.

Thanks for the headsup! not bad price for the frames. I however will only buy one brand, haha... Intense for me

yeah not a bad price, just remember to add the medical bill to the frame price when you buy it. :)

Thanks Sliiick, I'll have a look when in town. At least now I know what to call the handlebar.

I doubt you will find Renthal bars at most LBS. They are gravity riding specific. just ask for a bar with a bit of a rise. You may even have to try online to get a bar as wide as you want.

A good weekend of enduro is one that you share with you friends and some nice trails. I think that enduro is a balance between physical and technical skill. I think the good balance is when a downhill guy and a cross country guy can race together, and they both have the chance to win. If just a cross-country guy can win, it's not an enduro. When just a downhill rider can win, it's just a longer downhill. So we have to find a balance between them, so both kinds of riders can battle together and be at approximately the same level.

Shame patches ... times must be tough if you are forced to ride BLACK rims!

Ok so i know its not exactly a "Bike" pic ....

But coming off Berg and Bush where the Marathon-style mentality of SA is plain to see when people are complaining about groomed singletrack being too difficult .....

I thought i'd just share this pic of Marco Fontana ... XCO racer! ... DESTROYING the rocks at Final Ligures Enduro.

There is a true MTB rider ... wish i could be like that and be as good at XC and then also slay the Enduro like a BOSS.

You're kidding me, right? PLease, let it be so...

OATH! ... I heard a couple of crackers ...

Now to be absolutely fair .. Singletrack is not for everyone and every rider has their own tastes, but still .. come on ... B&B's slogan is "Proper Mountain Biking" ... so if you cant (or are too scared) to ride something ... dont complain and then walk down the trail holding up a trail of 15 people behind you who can ride a section.

Jeepers there were some attitudes out on the weekend ... BUT AGAIN .. it was an AWESOME Event ...

Already looking to see if I can organise an Enduro there.

I would love to see those moaners do an enduro. They'll probably throw tantrums like 4year olds...... Something's not lekker with SA XC weekend riders.....

The problem is in Europe what we (as in SA general MTB) call XC is actually riding on a dirt road
