Is it just me or does this look an epic?

Really keen on getting a dual sus for the Baviaans

except for one critical aspect, this frame is a single pivot

Even worse is that it doesnt have a vertical shock. We all know a bike isnt worth anything without a vertical shock.

I am putting DI2 on my road bike and need a handlebar for the internal junction box. I know many have used Flyxxi and I have used Hongfu in the past, but which road bars do you suggest for this. I have one which is very flat and it is not too comfortable.

Here is a thread on chinese bars. I am still hesitant of using such bars as I am a bit wary of the quality. But, there are many users who have positive reports

Ah, good ol' AliX. I've got a whole bunch of carbon upgrades in the mail from there as well. I've read and watched some reviews and while every now and then someone reports the odd (sometimes catastrophical) breakage, for the most part, it seems that carbon is carbon is carbon. I opted for 3K instead of UD just to be sure, as I personally feel a bit better about a woven fibre over UD, especially for trail use.

Thanks. I will have a look. Both my road and mtb are from China. Motivated a few years ago from this topic. All good. Personally had no issues with anything I have bought so far. At least 10 items purchased.

Just a quick question. Is it worth buying a frame from Flyxii for the free shippng or should one stick to Dengfu/Hongfu/carbonology?

Nothing at all wrong with flyxii, I have their wheels three years later and still no sign of giving up, two frames sets that I brought in are still floating around superbly.

Have had a local carbon guru give their work the thumbs up, so can't go wrong.

Good communication too, and be sure sl to email and ask for a discount. They can hook you up with a couple of dollars off.

Thank you. Saving $80 on postage is a lot

Wonder how they'll hold up?

I would recon like all the china carbon the rims etc will be fine and you wont have problems but I would ask myself if I need a spoke or two or a hub bearing where will I get them from in a year from now ...

(if you can solve that question why not )
