I was kind of hoping it wouldn't look so....um.. controversial. According to someone who knows someone who brings Bell in the bolt on bits are not backwards compatible to the current Super. The search continues for a convertible trail lid that doesn't look like donkey balls. Edited July 27, 2014 by Omega Man Iwan Kemp

Certainly the best option out there at the moment - by a long shot. mada3400 and Capricorn

Sanderis Posted August 7, 2014 Share fit = comfortable. ventilation = as well vented as possible. Basically test a specific model and see if you feel it meets those 2 criteria... or base your choice on other users opinions. As for weight... good heavens! 1.45kg will break your neck! I'd say you should be looking at around or less than 1000g. Not going to be cheap though (and a 100g MX lid will be even more expensive (approx R6000). That's why I mentioned the Kabuto's. The composite is 970g (lighter than many carbon lids that are twice it's price. I personally run a Troy Lee D3 (whch is probably the most popular upper end full face in the Enduro and FR and DH circles. Again, not cheap (probably looking at approx R3500-R4000 (landed) for the composite, and over R5000 (landed) for a carbon model. It's not the lightest or best vented on the market, but it is supposed to be one of the safest. (Jerome Clementz, Enduro World Champion, uses a TLD D3) On par with that are helmets like the Kabuto, Airoh Fighter, Fox Rampage Pro and the new Bell Full 9. The Bell is probably around R6000, but does come with an integrated GoPro mount which is pretty cool. Sanderis Posted August 7, 2014 Share Got two pair of gloves last month . These I wear everyday , very comfy and light but adequate protection .http://worldofaccessories.co.za/media/catalog/product/cache/1/small_image/270x/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/o/n/oneal-element-gloves-red.jpg I've tried these once but will keep them for the winter , simply too hot for summer use .http://worldofaccessories.co.za/media/catalog/product/cache/1/small_image/270x/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/t/h/thor_spectrum_orange_gloves.jpg The winter gloves ( Thor ) works superbly !! Is there a big difference in size? Do you find the 16L waddling around on your back or is it pretty low profile?

I have never run out of space.... yet. in winter i usually carry my knees guards, tools, phone & extra jacket, and there is still space for more if you need. the pack is pretty long but comfortable and secure, i don't find that it moves on my back..... provided its strapped on properly. I have a friend who has the 10L and he is able to fit his knee guards and essentials in, but it looks like a tight fit in the main compartment. There is always the helmet mesh which folds up which can become a makeshift compartment is things get full. I purchased the 16L cause i already have a small pack which i could use for short rides if necessary.

Already went for the 16l earlier today so I'm stoked on that! Thought I might as well go with the bigger one as price wasn't much different and I already have a smaller pack too so this'll be good for full days out.
