Please post some pics of that, prerty please.

Was about to ask the same

Will try remember to do it this weekend. (There may be a pic of it somewhere in this thread too)

Yeah. The small bump compliance makes up for the heft. You don't really ahve to lift the front for the roots or rocks, they just disappear under the wheels.

at 2.6+kg you can't really lift the front end, you learn to hold on.

jokes - RS Totem is one of my alltime must have's - burly as a beard on a bear

Also got a 3.2kg bomber 66,I find light front ends make the bike feel like it's gonna snap

That's funny. The 40 on the front of my bike is quite a bit lighter than 3.2kg and it's never felt like it's going to snap.

We're talking single crown here!

Triples feel fine no matter how light

Well funny you should mention that coz the 1.9kg Pike on the front of my reign doesn't exactly feel like a noodle either. Guess I'm not riding hard enough.

Guess it's just my opinion on it?

Just feels very twitchy when it's light

And my 1.865 kg Pike feels similarly bomb proof although I am sure there are stiffer forks out there that weigh 2kg, not 3.2kg. In general excess weight is a bad idea on a bike - even in DH. 3.2kg is just silly IMO. A boat anchor would be lighter.

Myles, that 66 sounds like the same kind  that was on your stolen Reign? Was it ever recovered?

Here's my lady.

First ride on the new rims and fork this pm, just on the green belts. Holy mackerel! The GRIP!!!! If I wasn't a pussy, this thing would need a license. Like a frikkin tank! Just need to sort out the bar 3cm higher on the stack height would do that)

It's No wonder it feels like a tank.

You practically put a bulldozer blade on the front. Good luck trying to hold a manual on that.
