There will always be those that doubt... am sure Froome is being tested daily.. perhaps that is why he had the sugar bonk as they taking too many blood samples out of him ;)

he cannot believe that people will stoop so low as to say he "bonked" on purpose to divert attention away from doping.

Now Go back a few pages and look at that pic with the kid that almost is being taken out by Froomes wheel and look at the hurt on his face...in fact look at the hurt on all three of their faces

He did indeed look in trouble. When I watched some of the close-ups, he almost looked like Cuddles!

Wonder what's going through Cadel's mind?

I'm sure Cadel is thinking.........please make this stop!!

How old is Quintana again? He looks mid-30s.

Seems like Saxo and others are racing according to Edgar method, go till you blow (and then lose time) - a team with Contador, Rodgers, Kreuzinger, Roche, Paulino etc but with very poor execution.

hold your horse boerewors....he has been around the block a few times. I do agree that he won't put minutes into froome this way...but he gets a reaction, and that is what he is after...SKY was cool and calm yesterday...smart play...when bertie made a move. He might still have a few more aces up his sleeve

He has been known to make his move when the yellow was in danger. I do not trust the steak muncher.

What a mate, help your leader and buddy when he's down, could see the worry in his face.

Guys, I don't buy the "Froome bonk" story for a second. It will be a sad day for cycling if I am correct. If you have to do this to gain credibility and popularity. Yesterday many people was shouting "dope" and I am pretty sure they are less verbal about it now. It may also be to mind f#%k the rivals. Watch him today, we will see.

F*****d if you do, and f8888d if you don't hey bro. What an arse comment, and that's the first time I've called anyone names on the hub!!!!!

Watching the highlights now. I can't believe Phil used the (much overused) "big diesel engine" in reference to Froome…

Time he retired.

Sure he'll have some plan for the other mountain stages. I've gained respect for his "never say die attitude" over this tour (although I'll never respect him for his doping, and I dislike the "EL Pistolero" salutes).

What a tour it has been, all the smaller teams have lit it up with their attacks, and attempts to break the monotony for a win. It has been more like the Giro in attitude this year, absolutely riveting.

Long may it continue.

Quitana is a Mayan priest that sacrifices virgins during full moon, so I suppose he can be very very old!!!!!!!!!

Can't be that old if he's in the white jersey not so?

And what retard would break himself on a TT and then die the next day on purpose, just for show? Unless he's playing a double-bluffing game and that's just infinitely less likely than "he worked too hard the day before a double-summit of the fricken Alpe d'Huez".
