Ahhh single speeding - what fuzzy logic.

 

I refused to ride a carbon mtb but have a rigid carbon fork on my SS which is steel.

 

To fix this little idiosyncracy I bought a Niner Air 9 RDO and a SIR with a steel fork.

 

Seemed like the right thing to do :-)

Getting a SS...you are doing it wrong

 

Build one up from scratch, source components individually...make it exactly the way you want it...Its half the fun, I promise.

bull****. There is no rule for SS. Build or buy it doesn't matter.

 

As long as you have an awesome time riding it!

 

PS. Just sold mine.

Sure there are no rules but the building up of SS makes it a labour of love so to speak, you invest time and money making it look exactly the way you want it and the end result is something that you love dearly. Without waxing lyrical, I think you are taking half the fun away by just going and buying one. But that is just me
