Bran is a very interesting character who's development was neglected by the show runners... but many other interesting characters and their stories were neglected or ignored to make room for action and shock value. As many have said.. it isn't the ending it is how they got there that is the problem. I hear you, clearly his and other stories were not fleshed out as they rushed through the last 2 seasons. But it didn't came as a surprise to me that they picked him, don't think there was any obvious other choice (other than Jon which would have been the real Disney ending) Again, I don't think the last episode was any worse than those preceding it. imo the story has a satisfying ending once you have recovered from the disappointment and had the chance to think it over a bit (I am also now convinced more than ever that the books will never be finished in grr martin's lifetime, especially if he starts producing prequels and sequels etc - the whole story just grew too large for him to handle) Andrew Steer, Piston ZA, Gen and 1 other 4 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
