still don't see the point in "hiding" the perp, I would name and shame and send a email to ADMIN, the last thing we need is another GUMTREE where we know that our classifieds is full of SNAKES,THE MORE THEY GET AWAY WITH IT AND CATCH HUBBERS THE MORE IT WILL GROW,

perhaps a proper rating system needs to be implemented, I have no avatar as I don't care for one. I have bought multiple items off the hub for lots of money without any problems. should I like to sell an item I cannot be judged by an avatar, and I would have no feed back. perhaps it is time for all (buyers and sellers) to start giving feedback.

There is a rating system

Length of time a member, number of posts, ratings on deals are the three things I look at. So it's important to give a rating on a deal, both seller and buyer. That's pretty much all you need.

If it's the same account, use the name history tool.

I think you must be unable to change your name.

ITS NOT FOOL PROOF I know but its a good start,, which bike would you buy options below

seller A ; no avatar 1 post pinerello at less than half the going price

seller B ; a avatar, good ratings good couple of posts(so you can get a feeling about the hubber) and a realistic priced pinerello

That doesnt work.

Speak quality, not quantity

That'll stop most hubbers (including myself) in their tracks

Don't worry Dips, I agree with you.. my post count will always be low because I mostly just read all the threads..

Some sellers are on the hub for over a year but with less than 10 posts. That worries me buying from them. I have asked a seller in the past to post item and if I have it hand I will gladly pay. He did so as he had no posts, no rating and was new on the hub. He agreed and deal was done. I would rather pass up a deal than get shafted.
