Froome Voooom

But sky have had bad days! They've been taken apart a few times now... But for the most part they've had a clear strategy.

Chris has shown he's a great climber and great time trialist. But not as good a sprinter. So they've cycled to the strengths... That's how you win.

With respect AfdElite, thats part of the problem. Its in the realm of Floyd Landis when someone charges up hills all day, (apparently) cracks the next and loses 20 minutes but somehow recovers sufficiently to come 4th in an ITT against the worlds best a day later. Then of course continues charging up hills and chasing down breaks from some of the worlds best. Its just questionable, it may very well be legit and one of course hopes it is, but its still very questionable.

SMH

So consistently brilliant = must be doping cos everyone has bad days.

Have a bad day after a massive effort day before, then have good days again later in tour = must be doping because how can you be good after being so bad.

Porte has done NOTHING like Landis's remarkable solo recovery... And he was a serious contender for a podium coming into this tour - far better odds than Kreuziger for eg. Since the Pyrenese he has mixed between conserving energy and going all out. The rest of the so called Sky borgs have been fragile. You will see this as suspicious only if you have already made your mind up about Sky.

Don't forget, Froome may have not had riders with the same kit as his to follow, but there have been plenty of other wheels to follow. The benefit of drafting is not affected by the color of the shirt the rider in front is wearing.

Sure he has had to bridge a few short metres occasionally to catch someone but over all he has always had a wheel to follow and a team car or road side assistance for nutritional needs.

....................You doubt your wife every time she's home late? Cause that's the same amount of trust you're giving..................................

:D Interesting analogy

What if I'm on my 12th wife and all the 11 previous ones cheated and came home late. What must I think when no. 12 starts coming home late also? ;)

All to be revealed in time...

Let's see.

Either he's a genius on a Piña

Or

Another high-flying cheat

Lets see how they all squirm in 5 years time when there is a call to test 2013 samples with the latest testing technology. I dont care if they are clean or not, its been a great show so far.

He would be an idiot to think samples won't be tested some time in the future for things that can't be tested for today. One thing I do know, Mr Froome is no idiot.

Not so sure of that Swiss, he has had a few substantial breaks and rode an incredible pace for about 3- 4kms up Ventoux pretty much alone (I am sure he was going so fast I saw him brake a few times going into those uphill turns :D ) but never the less, its difficult to not question how one or two riders can be so superior to the rest.

There is no way the rest are not doing the exact same when it comes to food, nutrition, assistance etc, I dont believe there are too many secret's in nutrition today, they all employ the best nutritionists, its all out there, and I dont believe the others are not training just as hard or putting in just as much time, they all have incredible pedigrees over many years.

Just look at the times, up to stage 15 I think, there was only about three minutes between 2nd and 8th containing the worlds best, but nearly 4.5 minutes from first to second, those are substantial differences in ability at this level, maybe everyone is wrong to question, I dont know, its a thought, and maybe Chris is just so much better, no denying its a possibility, a probability even, but given the history, I still dont think its odd that there are questions.

Nor was Mr Armstrong.

Froome's power data had been released to Lequipe and a French physiologist.

Of course to all the web experts on such matters this will mean very little as they will ask about the pre 2011 data, the pre pre 2011 data, the data from the moon and will also say the paper was bribed by Sky's inexhaustible funds or Chris' brain washing powers that have so obviously suckered all his fans.

Doesn't matter, only way to make most of you happy is to be a pi$$ poor cyclist.

Lance may not have been stupid, but I think its fair to say he was deluded.

And I didn't say "there's no way" - as I've said before I have to allow the possibility - but what I know of the man makes me think its VERY very unlikely.
