Not sure what's funnier, the fact that they got caught out or that a SA cycling celeb took such of offense to it.

I say good for Robbie...... Social media is consuming people..... damned if you do, damned if you dont!!!

Infact, right now im pretty anti all media... The the journo's are grilling Froome about doping? let the authorities do there testing work.. if a test is possitive then grill him, otherwise lets get on enjoying the tour....... its spoiling it for Froome and us..

I agree. So many twitter hero - easy to throw things around that you wouldn't say to someone's face. Good on Hunter for calling Leon on it. Fact is he has always looked out for Daryl and played a big part in his career - so not surprised he would take some offense

Do I need to say more? Think before you type maybe?

Or get your head out of the sand? It's old news that Hunter phoned Impey when he got the yellow.

Thought Leon to be a bigger man than tweeting such rubbish.

I love Twitter. A lot of people think they can say what they want without any consequence, but look at what happened to those FHM staffers.

ja that was mind boggling! How stupid can people be - and sportsman and journo's in particular seem to keep putting both feet in it~!

Indeed! And journos can be annoying on social media. They've become - or at least think they have - bigger than the stories they cover. And it's such a dick-swinging between media "personalities" on Twitter!

Me too. Hope he apologised in person and not just tweeted. ;)
