Hey guys

 

Here is my 1985 Peugeot track bike with super vitus 980 tubing

 

Nitto 123b CroMo bars with 3ttt stem

Suntour superbe pro track crank with sugino 75 chainring

Suntour superb pro hubs, laced to mavic MA40 rims

Regal saddle

Gipiemme track pedals

Hutchison nitro tyres they hold up very well with all skidding

Gear ratio is 49-19

 

Bike handles like a dream on the road. Super super smooth.

post-19617-1414954386,7286.jpgbuilt this up the other night and did the Protea Race on it today. 52-20 gear. Ave spd 35. Should have gone 18 at the back. Smooth as silk. Accelerates like a rocket.

Recently relocated from Cape Town to London. Snapped this pic on a morning commute recently.

Phase 2

 

Started cleaning off the grey spray and exposed, then removed some of the orange underneath. ...... I actually think the origional coat below this could be Blue.

 

Finish is currently distressed and recon I am going to keep it like this for a while.

 

Some snap shots of the bike slapped together to get a feel for the overall look.
