I’m fortunate to have over a decade of racing experience behind me and I can tell you, the outside of turn one lap one is not the place to be. Very few gifts are available out there. Lorenzo put himself on the outside. He must accept his mistake.

Agree,

Just because Jorge was on on pole doesn't give him the monopoly of turn 1's apex. Marc did not dive bomb him. Lorenzo chose the sweeping outside line as per the race line and didn't cover off the inside so when he wanted to tip in he found Marc there. Simple as that.

He then chose to do what he did and fall on on his own.........

MM certainly didn’t “dive bomb” him. But he did run it deep, he even exceeded the track limit on the exit, so MM too made a mistake. But didn’t mean to push JL wide.

JL left a massive gap between him and MM, probably due to MMS reputation, but agin that was a JL choice.

So, not blaming MM at all, but to say he didn’t overcook it, which contributed to the track position of JL also isn’t right.

Hahahaha. I love it when Marquez says in the presser on Thursdays that he needs to think about the championship and if he must he'll take 3rd. Then on Sunday the red mist descends and it's go for glory. Can't fault him for giving it his all, all the time.

Was a good race (and by race I mean final two laps), the rest was pretty boring. Everyone was there or there-abouts, until the two protagonists decided that it's time to actually start racing/

I well and truly hope that Yamaha have found a fix, but the skeptic in me struggles to believe that it's either a) fixed, or b) got fixed so quickly, if all we've been hearing all season is how terrible the bike is. Motegi should be interesting. Lots of hard acceleration and hard braking zones, which seems to be the root issue of the Blue bikes.
