I dont mind Rossi or Marquez, but am rooting for JL. I have been since he arrived from 250's, mainly because I assumed Rossi wouldve retired a few seasons ago, after the wall in the Yamaha pit went up and he moved to that donkey Ducati, and I absolutely cant stand that W Anchor Stoner.

 

What annoys me is that anybody actually thinks that Jorge needs help to win.

He's proven that he's fast. What's happening between Marc and Vale can stay between them, Jorge is just keeping on keeping on...

 

I really doubt the "Spanish connection" is what's got MM in the way.

It seems personal between him and VR.

 

Sure, Jorge has benefited, but that's just happened all by itself, through no doing of his own...

 

Was the crowd booing him on the podium as the commentator said, in order for him to just walk off...?

i think it is the perceived connection (true/not true) especially when MM gifted him 2nd place by running wide and then going after rossi.

 

JL was super fast in those first few laps and very aggressive (@and here come my conspiracy theory, with a bit of tongue and cheekso dont get too excited). MM and JL had an agreement that all he had to do was get pass Rossi, MM will then gift him a place and tie up Rossi, allowing JL to get away and stay relevant in title race. JL knew Rossi was faster or at least as fast as him at Sepang (look at qualification times) and Jorge is not the greatest street fighter. If Rossi beat him there at Sepang the championship would have been all but over.

I dont believe there was any agreement. as far as I know they dont particularly like each other.  the commentators said something about the king of Spain getting involves at some point because these 2 hated each other so much.

not an impossibility,anyone who has read Rossi's book about how he snuck around the paddock at night even hiding in the shadows ,just so he could move from Honda to Yamaha with no one knowing. Surely anything is possible.

There are 3 races on the calendar in spain....Repsol is a Spanish company and Honda have a lot of pull in motogp circles. motogp in spain is huge if one looks at crowds and the number of races there each year.

 

that said, marques has been on thin ice for a long time and has evaded sanction which sometimes I really question.

 

it kinda suits the motogp lot to have a Spanish champion.... just saying .....

Why would everybody be happy ? It would ruin the most gripping season of moto gp ....possibly ever! Doesn't sound like a happy scenario for race goers to me.

I am a Rossi fan,but am a moto gp fan first & foremost. One man does make the championship.

Conspiracy theories abound .

During this past race , out of the top 4 , one Valentino Rossi had the slowest fastest lap .

He was the one under pressure , and I think he buckled , starting at the press conference on the Thursday .
