My first set of hydraulics were Juicy3's and I loved them.

Both bikes after that were fitted with juicy Ultimate (still ride the one bike) and I loved them.

Then had Elixer X.0 on a bike and loved them.

Current bike's got Elixer5 and I love them.

Bird noises? LOVE it! Sounds like a WRC car heading into corners.... Love it.

I still miss my XX's. Damn good brakes those.

Love my XX`s. Not a sound from them either, not that it bugs me, my Juicy 5`s howled and chirped and it was a good way to let slower riders I was coming up behind them.

Will someone care to explain the Avid range of MTB brakes?

Like I know with Shimano the quality increases from SLX through to XTR. But how does the Avid range work?
