just like the "more relaxed geometry" and the 3 x 10 speed.

This bike was specced by the marketing department

WTF!

I race my 3x9 speed. And I compete with a lot of riders with MUCH better specked bikes. It all boils down to fitness and preference and what you can afford obviously.

Oh and BTW, I only ride/race MTB. No road cycling for me.

Hi, can you care what the difference between Hard tail (I know what it is as I've AL329) and Soft tail?

Hardtail = Suspension only on the front

Softtail = Suspension front and rear. In this case the rear suspension is on the seatpost.

Which makes the naming of the bike pretty laughable.

The post does not define what the frame is all about.

As for the post, nothing revolutionary, just one of many posts one can find at Interbike or Eurobike and decide to slap your name on it.

Had a sus seatpost on an old Cannondale. Hated that thing.

Few problems with those things.

Getting the correct elastomers for your weight and also the lack of rebound, pretty bouncy on the ass.

The lesser of all the evils was the Cane Creek.

i laaik it, think it's innovative, and not something that's commonly found. Sure a lot of people starting off will enjoy the ride. Though, if you're on your ass instead of up on your feet on a bumpy descent, you're gonna end up in trouble either way.

(i'll stick to my uncushioned hard tail)

not sure I get the point of this bike? I like the brand, I own one, but the new additions like the 429 and this one, I don't think are going to fly off the shelf..... trying too hard my guess is, trying too hard to be everything to everyone......

Please don't let that Bergbok chap see this post (see what I did there?) .....that post is so 1992 though and hardly cutting edge.

If you feel strongly about this being innovative then simply slap one on your current ride.

The only "funny" seat post for me would be a dropper post thank you, our else a std post does tge trick just aswell.
