So this morning a Tonsil decides to MTB at Modderfontein without a Helmet.

After the guy parked next to me yelled at him "Helmet" We all just got dirty looks and off he went.

All we need is for him to smack his head or worse and there goes our modderfontein riding venue......

WEAR A HELMET TONSIL!!!!\

Rant over...

Otherwise I Had a nice ride at Modders this morning.......

kinda like the guy i saw this morning that still had his karoo to coast number on his bike...toti !

What is this thing with some MTBers and training with race numbers? Is it to train with the different aero characteristics and subsequent handling that a number an your handlebar provides?

I have a mate that was one of those that would on the spur of the moment go ride the spruit without a helmet as he considered it just an amble - he got so much k*k from other cyclists he's stopped - riding all together.

many of these places have no helmet no ride rules - just a pity it's not easy to enforce. mate arrived at Rietvlei the other day and forgot his helmet - we made him go buy a new one - he wasn't happy with us.

Was It you? :)

Nope I won't ride for a while now. My number is however still on my bike and couldn't be bothered to take it off now and if did decide to go for a quick ride there would be a very good chance I will forget to cut it off.

I ask again who cares?

I was follow a wheel and a armada of riders came past on the spruit.

We had to get off the trial to let them all through. No problem.

So this tosser came past in his all black kit 10 seconds after the group. He is not a tosser for being ten seconds after the group or wearing all black kit, but for shouting " Just ride, don't greet "

I am not sure if he is upset that we didn't greet him, or that we made eye contact with the riders going in the opposite direction.
