Gooo sloooower than you think with your HT!

You were comfortably over (even a tad long) on your AM bike.

The HT will require a lot less energy to jump.

What you said...safari was going 100 and plenty and overcooked it. Big up jc

haha yeah yeah. I was a little over Zealous with my takeoff speed.  Maybe its time to get some suspension or lessons from one of "The Rats"

All I can say is those Niner forks are Solid after close inspection its still 100%.

I cant see a Chinarello fork flexing like that and not becoming a pile of splinters.

Post it to niner and say you did some field "r&d" work for them...

I double checked the welds dude...especially by the headtube...all good.

Bloody hell that bike flexed quite a lot for a "rigid".

Slo-mo really does show the truth...I bet all bikes flex a bit considering the hammering we put them through

Its seems like less is more with that jump...speed kills and all that.

You guys do of course know what the secret is...

yeah, their lawyer's spidey-sense will start tingling!

But yeah, did you hit it again after that run?

I've found with most of the jumps I've been hyping up in my head (ie. road gap at thaba or jugg's big one on cascades DH track) that my first attempt felt sketchy and terrifying, but then I know how to adjust and it just gets better from there.

hahaha!

Funny story that but really a lot of truth in it. I had the fear of mordor in me with anything "jumpy"...Been practicing alot and already I can feel a huge diffs when it comes to them...

Jc and I hit the bikepark on saturday and did about 1000 laps of the bmx course, upgrading to different lines once we felt comfortable with the smaller lines. What a jol...also klapped the small gaps on the little trails like they werent even there...So confidence is a huge factor for me.

I get that 0mm of travel will only get you so far, so on the lookout for something more "spingbokkie"
