How NOT to do the Widowmaker (Hoogekraal, Cape Epic Prologue)

I have done a dismount like that at that point .... I recall everything going into slow motion and while tucking and rolling I saw the bike cartwheeling down the trail and being very fascinated by how far and many times the bike managed to cartwheel.

Don't you know droppers weigh too much for these racing snakes????  :ph34r:

 

I cant ride without a dropper anymore....way too spoiled!

There's about 200 grams in it these days right. Whats more its not even rotational weight. The mind boggles.

Edit: Dropper posts is not a band-aid for lack of skills

The same could be said about rear suspension, front suspension, 22 different gear possibilities etc. This is an old argument.
