Is this a tricksy question....I am sure I watched them pull the yellow and green over their heads.

Why...mmmm cause they are the best within each of the categories

There's best time finisher (yellow)

And most points for sprints (green)

Most points for climbing (polka dot)

friday night was listening to one friend explain the concept to another friend with a smile on my face.

First time i watched TDF in 2009 I was also confused - I thought it was very unfair one guy had to keep riding back to get water for all the others .... ;-) once it makes sense it's awesome to watch - not for the withdrawal symptoms (at least it's cheaper now i can turn of DSTV again)

Not sure if this was covered, but of not and for those who don't know, here is the prize-money breakdown. Most teams put all the money in a pot and share it as it is a "team effort"!

Hehe ja, that was the first thing I did last night after the 20:00 movie

Was listening to MixFM the other day, and they had a 20-25 minute talk on the Tour.

It was a dummies guide to the Tour, and if you didn't understand the lingo it may have sound very confusing.

While they jumped from topic to topic, the continuity was pretty well done.

Cheng was 6h02 slower than Nibali, the biggest deficient between first and last place since 1954 when Dierkens finished 6h07 behind Bobet

so the winning team members each gets about €2 380 per day if you exclude management and support staff... It makes more sense to slog it out for 7 days at the Cape Epic and more than 3x that...
