Where?

It was hooked in Swartvlei(Sedgefield). There are some VERY big fish in there at the moment. The mouth has been closed for almost a year now due to the lack if rains in the catchment areas. I'll be back this weekend with the salt fly tac to give it another crack.

Lol. How's the sandbox treating you bud?

Hahaha! Ag as good as it can I suppose. Quite an adjustment bit I think I'm getting down with it.

Awesome! I have a Classic II 2/3wt and it's such a lovely little rod, caught a nice 900g 'bow on it this week!

The way our trout streams & dams in the Western Cape are looking, I think we may have to fish for lizards come springtime. :(

That (almost) exact pic is my desktop. Lovely water once you figure it out.

Ha Ha thats definatly the same dam just a different angle.

Absolutely beautiful. Will definatly be going back.

Did you use a float tube? I ended up wading out without any waders, the water was pretty cold though once I stopped feeling my legs it was ok.

Ill need to invest in a proper pair of waders next, and possibly a float tube but I cant really justify the cost for the amount of time i go fly fishing
