Does the Post Office issue helmets?

I can only recall once seeing a Post Office deliveryman wearing one? If it's the law of the land, surely they should wear one?

My postman is forever stopping by to borrow a spanner or two, if they don't give him a maintained bike I doubt they'd bother with the helmet

Contact department of labour, other companies are required to supply their staff with relevant PPE required in order to perform their task safely

was actually thinking about this, has anyone ever been stopped, questioned, warned, fined, reprimanded for not wearing a helmet?

Like the thought, but I highly doubt if anyone there has the time or courage to take this on

Well its an offence to talk on your cellphone and not wear a seat belt when driving, but according to Wayne Minnar the Metro cops have had "special" training and are exempt. Perhaps the PO guys have also had "special" training which does not require them to wear one.

The truth is, though, that the seat belts aren't long enough to stretch around the cops…
