Any logical reason not to buy Spez Epic

I know a lot has been said over the last week about Spez and bullies and brands, but other than someone not liking the brand or the shop owner selling Spez, is there any reason not to seriously consider buy an Epic Comp, it looks like any other competitors with the same sort of components comes in at the same price?

Don't sell yourself short, and remember there's never logic involved when buying a new bike.

Didn't one the Spez' team managers at the epic last year say that 90% of riders would be better off / benefit from being on Cambers than the epics? Tried to find the quote now but couldn't see it.
