Uni Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 Thanks for the warning..i actually had to go to the doctor yesterday - no signs of tick bite fever but lots of swelling and secondary infection. I'm also gonna start slathering on the sun screen and tabard .

Odinson Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 Awesome sighting last night at Modders of three very young Black Backed Jackal pups, still grey in colour they are so young. Was lucky enough to spot a Jackal few weeks back on an early morning ride.  Jackal gave me one good look as I came out of a section of singletrack and then darted off.

Love the place, the trails and signage have definitely improved a lot over the last year! Got to see some wildebeest and a couple of buck yesterday morning. The river was overflowing yesterday from the rain and it was boggy in some parts, but overall was a great ride.
